The Fall Issue | 2023

Editorial

“Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,” wrote John Keats in one of his most famous poems, “To Autumn”, just over 200 years ago. “Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun.”

Summer has ended, kind of, and so too has our lazing in the grass, soaking up the heat and light, cold drink in hand, watching folks throw frisbees and toss balls for their dogs.

The parks in Prague are lovely still, a little more abandoned now, trees full of their new fall colours — their thinned out branches opening the skyline to even grander views of the city’s rooftops, domes, spires, and chimneys.

We’ve gathered a wonderful harvest of poems, short stories, novel excerpts, interviews, and reviews from the many hundreds of submissions we’ve received over the last two months — and with that, we present to you B O D Y’s Fall 2023 issue.
